Cracow Jazz Fall

This year Krakow will host the 3rd edition of a unique Jazz event that gained recognition among pubilc and critics. Cracow Jazz Fall will present this year 24 concerts - among them many projects that will be presented for the first time in Poland or were prepared specially for that occasion.

The concerts will take place in such clubs as Alchemia, Re and Harris as well as in Museum of Japanese Art and Technology - Manggha. As each year the Krakow Jazz Autumn is organised under a certain motto (last year it was "Free like Jazz") - this year's event is called "The most colorfull Jazz".
Among numerous performers, that will surely enchant the audience, especially worth recommending is a cocert of Anthony Braxton's Septet. The inaugural concert will be organised in Alchemia club (in Kazimierz district), where most of the conerts will take place, and will feature Peter Brotzman - a German free jazz saxophonist and clarinetist. The event will of course satisfy Ken Vandemark's fans, who became a regular guest of Cracow Jazz Fall, as he will appear on stage with Free Fall, The Thing and Sonore. The last concert, featuring Sonore (consisting of Peter Brotzmann, Mats Gustafsson and Ken Vandemark), will take place on the 9th of December in Alchemia club.

To those who want to be the closest to Cracow Jazz Fall, we especially recommend staying in a hotel in Kazimierz district nearby Alchemia club. Numerous concerts organised there will be within walking distance and free time can be spent on taking a walk around this magic quarter that boasts of specific ambience.
